ABOUT

After graduating from UDK Berlin in 2014, german designer Pascal Hien was awarded a scholarship at Fabrica Research Center in Italy, followed by professional experiences at Steelcase Inc. and Konstantin Grcic.

In 2016 Pascal was among Wallpaper* magazine's selection of top graduates. In 2022 STIR named him one of the designers to look at during the Salone del Mobile in Milan. His latest project Migo is included in the permanent collection of the London Design Museum.

After gaining valuable knowledge and learning from within the practice, Pascal decided to open his own office in 2023.

Pascal Hien Office for Design offers expertise within the field of industrial, exhibition and conceptual design. Every project development takes in consideration human behavior, modern production techniques and the future of our economy, while searching for beauty.

The studio provides a complete service from initial research, creative consultancy and ideation to final launch. Within the process we analyze what could be reduced, reused or reworked in order to make meaningful design that impacts and improves our daily routines.
