Shek Po Kwan

Sār(Essence) was founded from an ongoing conversation with Nikita Bhate. Following the Reclaimed Stories collection in 2017, this new brand translates a theory into industrial, upgradable and flatpack design. All made in India.

Since 2019, Sār represents contemporary, contextual and functional design through the perspective of designers from around the world. The brand launches collections, rather than single products that aim to tell a story, have a small carbon footprint and support local craftsmanship.
